• When using all four it makes them 4 ohm and bad news for extended play let alone loud.There are receivers, even stereo ones,that are made to do that but this isn't one.

• Hi Eve, we suggest looking into the STRDN1070 instead. It is more powerful and can hold up to 7 speakers for music playback from your iPod. Just make sure that the unit is well ventilated to avoid overheating. Thanks, -Mark
