Does this have the digital optical input? null

Not at this price range, it's a bottom of the line receiver just for stereo, no surround sound, strictly 2-channels. Digital inputs whether optical or wired are meant for Audio-Visual Receivers for TV's, BluRay players, Game consoles, projectors, anything that needs digital input/outputs.I would say add around $100 more for an AVR.
