“I am having an issue with the speaker wires not staying in the back of the unit. The springs keep popping off. Is there something that I can do to revent this”

Duct tape. Seriously. Plug the wires in good and run a piece of duct tape over them. Another technique I use is to strip back twice the amount of wire I need, finger-twist the wires and fold over halfway. That doubles the wire diameter thus giving a tighter grip.
