“Can this be used with a rocketfish wireless surround system? Could you hookup a rocketfish wireless sender from a 6.1 system to its receiver? Then take speaker wires from the rocketfish receiver to the Sony receiver and amplify the back speakers? Just curious because that seems to be the only way without running more wires to have the back channel work.”

I dont think so. There may be impendance and feed back issues here.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If the wireless receiver/sender has connections for a red and white analog connection then it may be possible. It would also be best to contact the manufacturer of that receiver/sender if there are any other requirements.
