“I want to pair up with a 5g network. Is this compatible? So far I have only been able to find TV's that only pair with 4g.”

It can and does. It does depend on your internet/wifi service capabilities. Some wifi services are not capable of Consistent 5G Connectivity and depending on varying factors waver between 4G and 5G. Check with your internet provider.
