“I’m new to the home theater speaker game. I currently have rear ceiling speakers that came with my house. Will non atmos speakers work fine with these atmos? Also, what is a good receiver for these speakers? Thanks!”

I would not use sony atmos speakers added to you rear ceiling speakers. Instead place them on top of front surround speakers, or on the wall facing your sitting area above or deside of tv. Any 7.1 or higher avr would be best for setting up.
