That’s how I’m using mine except I have them free floating instead of mounted to rear speakers. They add a nice low-mid punch to cinema sound and help sell the “3D” sound mixes that movies virtually all employ now. Mine are mounted 10 feet up near the corners of the back wall in a 12 foot tall room. I have them angled towards the ceiling and the back wall to maximize the throw and bounce of their more bass heavy sound and the Atmos effect.
