Just got it hooked up but cant get it to work with time warner yet.. Must need to call the cable company to check to see if I need a box...

Please try again later.Well, it has two HDMI inputs, so as long as you're not using both of them already (I have my Roku in one input and my DVD in the other), I imagine you could plug in any streaming device like a Roku, Chromecast, Fire TV, etc. But the built in Smart TV function of this TV is good for Netflix, and even has a dedicated Netflix button on the remote. Aside from that though, it doesn't seem to have as many channels like you can add on the Roku. It just has Amazon Prime and a few others. Also, you can access websites like Youtube to watch videos.
