No unless mounted on an arm with articulation. The stand itself is kinda awkward as it is wide bar in the front and two "feet" in the rear. It takes a flat surface and won't fit over many current components (cable box, etc.). Last years Sony's had two independent feet which could be mounted in the center or at the sides which in my opinion is a better set up.
