Hi, Annie, This is a 4K TV. 4K refers to an ultra-high-definition (Ultra HD) image with a horizontal and vertical resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 pixels, respectively. That is 4x more pixels that traditional HD (1080p). Pixels are the dots that make up a TV image. The more pixels, the sharper the image. Thanks! -Vincent
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. They are the things that display the brightly lit colored image. What did you think they were for? Also, also it's a 4K tv. The math on that checks out to be - 3840 x 2160. I used my abacus for that and I don't bring it out for just any occasion, you were special. ;)
