Hi BRUSE, Thank you for your inquiry. If your cable provider allows you to pause a Live TV or TV program, then there are ways to pause a TV program on this unit. Enabling [Cable/Satellite box control setup] in [Cable/Satellite box setup] allows you to operate a cable/satellite box using the TV’s remote control.
