“My question: Is there a place in the TV to insert a DVD disc, not attach another piece of equipment into an existing port. I called Best Buy , the new TV's do not have an area where you can put the disc into the TV. Another brand does.”

• No it doesn’t have the option to insert a dvd or blue ray disc
