HDMI ports number 3 and number 4 are HDMI 2.1 capable at 4K and 120Hz. Note that the video card has to output 120Hz.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Try going into your nVidia Control Panel, and under "Change Resolution" switch the Output color format to YCbCr444 if you were at either the nVidia default, or RGB. It's probably a BGR VA panel, like the model it replaces from last year, the X85J. Do that, and then use Windows Clear Type utility. It can be found just by typing "cleartype" into Search. With Clear Type just keeping picking the sharper and brighter options. I think you might then have a slightly better desktop, and less blurry text. This model looks to be nearly identical to last year's as it uses the same panel, and same processor. https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/sony/x85j Best of luck! I almost bought last year's X85J, and I'm on the fence with this one. I have a Sony 43" X800D that is still stellar, so it makes hard to pull the trigger on upgrading.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Though I was able to get 120hz... I found the text to be blurry like last year's 43X85J model. This has not been resolved with the 43X85K. My intent is to develop using this TV as my primary PC monitor but benefit from the 120hz for gaming at 4k. 60hz is not blurry. 120hz is blurry. Switching back and forth from 60hz to 120hz is not ideal. Better luck next year.
