Yes it does. I ran into the same problem as yourself, i had to run video directly to tv, and audio to my av reciever using the digital optical out.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It does have a digital optical out which I use when I listen through my receiver. Tip: Use the action menu button to access the speaker control and switch it from "tv speakers" to "audio system" to force 5.1 to your receiver. If you leave it on tv speakers it will play both outputs (tv and audio system) but will only be in stereo to your receiver.
