“It doesn't appear to have a zoom function but i wanted to ask anyway just in case. I have a Sony CX405 and the zoom is spectacular, so i was hoping this would have some type of optical zoom.”

Hi Stan, this action camera has smooth zoom which can be adjusted up to 3x, additionally, it also allows you to select a viewing angle. Regards, -Mark
