- Answer No. The only outputs on the CDP-CE500 are RCA type left and right audio or Digital Audio Optical output.There is a USB connector on the unit and the manual says " The player supports only USB flash memory devices that meet the following requirements. - The device is a SONY MASS Storage Class Device complying with Universal Serial Bus Specifications Revision 1.1 or later. -The file system is FAT 16/32 Some USB flash memory devices are not compatible with this player." - Answer CD door is 13 3/4 in wide, half in from left side. Unit 17 in wide x 16 in deep x 4 1/8 high including feet.

- Answer According to the manual the player will play music on a USB device if the files are of the type; MP3: file extension .mp3 WMA: file extension .wma AAC: file extension .m4a, .mp4, or .3gp Note that even when file names have the above extensions, if the actual file formats differ, playing these files may generate a loud noise which could damage the speaker system and the player may malfunction. Files with DRM (Digital Rights Management ) copywright protection cannot be played back on this player. Files downloaded from an online music store may also not be playable on this player.

- Answer The Sony CDPCE500 CD Changer/Player has Optical and RCA (Red&White) audio OUT jacks. The Player cannot receive audio/video signals from an external device. However, we can output audio signals from the Player to an external audio device using Optical or RCA audio cable. The external audio devices must have Optical or RCA audio input jacks to receive sound from the Player.

QuestionHow can I reset the CD Changer?There was a power outage and my cd changer no longer plays at all. It keeps reading the discs and then rotating to the next one without playing anything. I've pressed all the buttons and unplugged the machine but it will not work!!!! It keeps saying "fade" on the display.

- Answer I had the same situation (power outtage/surge) and came to the conclusion the CD player was fried. Decided buying a new one (about $150) was cheaper than trying to get it fixed.

- Answer No. It only records to a USB. Which is cool in itself. Good thing I'm on pain meds, or that question would bother me. Lol. I just had surgery for 2 hernias.
