• This model only supports the pre installed Netflix and YouTube, no other software can be added. You'll need a separate device.

• Hi Jerry, downloading/installing application is not supported by this TV. However, you can screen mirror your smartphone to this TV. Thanks! ^Ron

• You can't add apps to the system, BUT it comes with a number of leading streaming providers. Check with the sony site for documentation details but I personally wanted hulu and pandora, both of which are installed. Crackle is also installed, but I don't use that service. As an aside, I found the interface more responsive than my old Roku, which is my fallback for streaming. YMMV.
