Hi SonyGirl, this smart TV has pre-installed apps that we can use. If other apps that you're trying to use says unable to access privacy, I suggest reviewing the Privacy Policy. Please check page 16 of the manual: https://docs.sony.com/release//Manual_4725925011.pdf. Regards, -Erin
