Can this tv be used outside null

Hi Mark, we appreciate your interest in our product. Unfortunately, BRAVIA TVs are not intended to operate outdoors. Exposing the screen to direct illumination or sunlight will affect picture quality as well as rain or moisture will put the TV at risk of fire or electric shock. With the X77L, every image, alive with vivid colors! Live Color expands colors of images to the reproducible colors of the TV so everything you see looks vivid and real. Also our Motionflow XR creates and inserts extra frames between the originals. With more images seen every second, action is smoother and sharper. ~Earl

I wouldn't advise it, but the resolution is great, so if in a shady, protected area, with no moisture, you should be able to see the picture. For the price, this so far is the best TV.
