• These headsets have cheap material the earcups have fabric that comes off every month.

• This is new gold version and the only difference between gold and platinum is 3d sound which is only few games using 3ds sound as I know.

• They are the same as the new gold. The platinum is better. With the limited you paying for looks and the nostalgia of it.

• This is the same as the original gold headset but with a new prettier body. The platinum headsets are a little better quality than this and about $50 more expensive.
