• The mic is inside the headphones. Meaning no cords or extra pieces!

• Yes it does have a mic and no you can’t detach it. The mic is in the headset. But you could just mute it.

• Yes this headset has a built in Mic but you cannot detach the mic or extend it. It is the same as the original gold headset just a nice new body. Works great on Playstation and PC.
