Hi JustVlog, Sony's commitment to customer satisfaction is our top priority. The lens focal length for talking head videos we recommend would be ranging from 11mm to 35mm. You can still use 50mm but since it is an APSC sensor camera the focal length will become 75mm which you would need a lot of room between the camera and the subject to be in frame.
