The trick is to look at exactly what type of output the system is referencing. Some systems will list the Peak output which is the best it can do and will often sound distorted at that volume. Other systems, like this one, will list the RMS (root mean squared), which is a normal, sustainable output (so basically, it's ok to have a lower RMS output, just make sure to compare RMS to RMS or Peak to Peak).
