• Yes you can choose between AM or FM and it's a breeze to use. Batteries are included but you do have to put them in. Easy to do.

• Please press the FUNCTION on the unit to select "TUNER FM" or "TUNER AM" and this audio system comes with a pair of batteries for the remote. Thanks, >Joffrey
