“Night time scenes are so dark I almost cannot see the picture. Even some daytime scenes (especially indoor settings) have a very dark background. I have tried all the setting adjustments and cannot get a lighter background. Is this normal?”

• Hi PJ, To brighten the screen, select [Reset] in [Picture adjustments], then try to set the [Power saving] in [Eco] to [Low] or [Off]. -Anthony

• Try advance settings in black level you can turn it on or off and also you can select black level

• No problem with mine 8/9/16. Tried the football setting? That is as light as you can get on this TV. If no help call Sony! c.
