Mine works fine with a basic HDMI cable. I tried a couple of others but noticed no difference.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hey Charlie, I'm glad you know of the differences in HDMI cables. Using an 18 GBPS HDMI cable is perfectly fine for 4K HDR viewing. If you go less than that, you may experience a degrade in quality in the form of not being able to see all HDR colors in their full intensity or downscaling from 4K quality, depending of the bandwidth of the HDMI cable you're using. Best Buy sells an 18 GBPS HDMI cable for $19.99.
