Using the TV in HDR mode when the content is not HDR does not help picture quality. It's meant for HDR sources. In fact, I prefer the picture with HDR off when viewing 1080p content.

Please try again later.The TV will always display at at least 1080p depending on the quality of the show/movie your watching but the tv will upscale to make the colors and picture more vivid and clear. Turning on Enhanced format is used for 4K and honestly doesn't make a difference for 1080p. I have a PS4 Pro and in order to play games in full HDR you need enhanced format turned on.
