• Yes, it will work for the Xbox One S HDR capabilities, however you'll have to change the HDMI from Standard to Enhanced in the Display settings of the set as well as use the right HDMI inputs that support HDR.

• I got an xbox S at Christmas and it works great on the TV,both games and movies play well with an ordinary HDMI cable.
