“I would also like a definitive answer on the hdr, i have updated to latest version and i can find no tv option for hdr. I have a ps4 pro and from everything i read this tv will ouput 10bit hdr after i updated. Have i been mistaken? Thanks in advance.”

Try to switch your game HDMI to #2 (on the right side of TV from back). I noticed the picture quality of just cable input was not as fine as when I put the HDMI from #1 (on the center back) to the other port. The instructions say that the quality is the higher one (the full 4D) when using #2 (and #3, I think)).
