“Does this TV stay faithful to the Framerate of the content being displayed, or does the refresh rate smooth 24 or 30fps content to look more like 60fps? Do movies retain 24fps or is motion blur eliminated and everything looks weird?”

There are different HDMI plugs, and if you use #2 or #3 rather than the one in the very back of the TV (#1), the picture quality and smoothness is much much better. There is info about this in the instruction book.
