“I bought this TV 2 weeks ago, I recently got the words SAFE MODE, on the bottom left on the screen. I am wondering what it is for and how to get rid of it? It doesn't appear to effect the functionality of the TV, but is annoying and distracting.”

Press and hold the POWER button on the supplied IR remote control for at least five seconds to exit from this screen. All it does is it prevents third party apps from working. Hopefully this will work for you.
