STAND WIDTH (STANDARD POSITION) 40.75 in (1,034 mm) STAND WIDTH (NARROW POSITION) 27.25 in (692 mm) STAND WIDTH (SOUNDBAR POSITION) 40.88 in (1,036 mm) 13 in (330 mm)deep Unfortunately, there is no shorter stand available for the A80J. All sizes of our A80J have the same stand measurement except for the 77" which measures 14 1/2 in (367mm) deep. I hope this helps. Regards, Erin
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would not try to balance a 55" TV on something that's the width of a sheet of paper. You should get a wall mount. They are cheap and this TV is under 40 lbs.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had the same issue. I bought a swivel stand. It both allowed a narrow stance and ability to swivel 30° to left or right. They're around $30 and I believe well worth it.
