“Can this TV be mounted over a fireplace? Fireplace is a direct vent, Linear style. Picture is of a model home. We will NOT have the blower shown on top of the fireplace in photo. Just the fireplace. There will not be a mantle. Can the heat affect the tv?”

Hi DebbieNC, thanks for your inquiry. The short answer is yes. You can mount the TV over the fireplace following the recommended Vesa Hole pitch pattern which is 11.81 x 11.81 inches (300 x 300 mm). Additionally, care must be taken care of to ensure heat generated by the fireplace is redirected away from the TV. This is to ensure the TV isn't damaged by the heat. We also recommend contacting a TV installer to check the recommended measurement or distance from the Fireplace to the TV. I hope this helps. Erin
