TV is not intended for outdoor use. I have a Hisense H9 on my outdoor patio and simply make sure to cover it when not in use. It’s been back there for 2 plus years with no issue. Problem you may have with the Sony is it being an OLED, it may not get bright enough for outdoor use. I would recommend going with an LED or mini LED tv instead.

You can place the TV in a covered patio as long as the screen is not exposed to direct illumination or sunlight to get the best picture quality. The TV is intended to be operated indoors. Exposing the TV to rain or moisture, direct illumination, or sunlight may cause damage. For safety reasons and to prevent the TV from malfunctioning its recommended operating temperature is 0 ºC – 40 ºC / 32 ºF – 104 ºF. Hope this helps. Erin
