I think with the right set up it would look nice. I'm bias because I had the Sony Bravia 3d tv.. I bought this to replace it this year because it stopped working (10 years later). If you can get the old 3d model it is worth it. The refresh rate on the screen is way higher then this one think it was 240 and this new model is 120.. but this TV's colors would look great in 3d still
