“I am using the Sony A80J for TV (movies) and for a computer monitor (M1 Mac Mini). There are several ways to connect the M1 Mac Mini to the Sony. Can you suggest the best way to connect, which Sony port and settings for fastest response, 4K and 120 FPS?”

Hi Calo, Thank you so much for your inquiry. If your M1 Mac Mini supports 4K 120Hz, we recommend connecting it to the HDMI 3 or HDMI 4 input of the TV. Then make sure that you are using Ultra High-Speed HDMI™ Cable that supports 48 Gbps to display 4K 120 Hz. Once connected, follow the steps below: • Go to Settings → Watching TV → External inputs → HDMI signal format. • Select the input the device is connected to (either HDMI 3 or HDMI 4) and then change the setting to Enhanced format. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I've spent 3 weeks with it and I'm going to recommend using hdmi port 3 or 4 since those are the only ones for 4k at 120hz. Game mode has the lowest input lag if you're going to play games but if you're going to watch a movie switch to stand and increase peak brightness to max. I'm not a big PC so if someone else has better advice I hope they chime in. But hopefully the above tips will get you well on your way!
