I don’t remember seeing an optical audio out on the TV but if it does have it, it will work but I don’t think you get any Dolby Atmos out of it the device, (soundbar) it has to support Dolby Atmos in order for it to work You will probably just get regular 3.1 sound

First, the sound bar has to connect with optical cable or HDMI ARC. Second, it should be at least DTS or 5.1 Dolby or 5.1 DTS. I highly doubt a 10 year old sound bar is Dolby Atmos, the other audio format supported. If it meets that criteria than you can use it in conjunction with the TV screen built in audio panel, otherwise the stand alone TV sound is probably better.

The A80J is equipped with the Acoustic Surface Audio+. With Acoustic Surface Audio+, the screen is the speaker. This advanced screen-speaker technology microscopically vibrates the TV panel to produce sound from the entire screen which creates acoustics that is perfectly in sync with the picture. With sound and picture in perfect harmony, you'll hear more realistic sound and exceptionally clear dialog. Built-in subwoofers provide powerful bass for immersive cinematic sound. With the Cognitive XR Processor, this TV also has 3D Surround Upscaling that can remaster your content and reproduce the audio in surround sound. I hope this helps. Erin
