Your answer does not make sense. I only need an analog sound output to drive my hearing aid device. I was asking whether or not I could use the TVs optical output and a converter to obtain the analog sound output I need? I do not want to do anything to cause a problem with my new TV.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Use the mini-HDMI connector to connect the soundbar. Since it sounds like the hearing aid device might be important, you might consider getting a new soundbar that has a HDMI-Audio input if your current soundbar doesn't have one. Actually, that's a more elegant solution, anyway.
