“I saw somebody had asked if this can be used with a DVD player. One person said no and the Sony response said it can be used with an HDMI cable. My Sony DVD player does not have HDMI functionality. What am I supposed to do?”

Hi Lisa, thanks for your question. If your Blu-ray/DVD player has composite jacks (sockets), you can connect them to the TV using a composite video/audio cable. Please try again later.The Sony response was helpful but to cut to the chase, I bought the “Analog Extension cable” (in the linked article they referenced) from Amazon for about $6. I chose the one that specified Sony in the listing name. It plugged in and started playing within seconds.
