I'm using a Dell SK 8115 keyboard connected via USB. The full keyboard operates as an input device for all services and apps I've accessed with the exception Amazon. When signing on to my Amazon Prime account via the pre loaded App, the only keys that work are the arrow and return key. So for Amazon, the keyboard only served to replicate the remote's limited functionality.

Yes it can. I have a Logitech keyboard mouse combo attached via USB dongle and it works great.
