As far as I know it is compatible with all DVD players, but I would check with the Geek Squad to be sure.

The main question is what sort of connector output does your dvd player have? If its not too old it should have hdmi which this tv supports. If you want to take full advantage of the HDR of the tv (which i assume is why you bought it and not something much cheaper that doesnt have it) I would suggest getting a bluray player that outputs HDR.

Yes it should be, it has HDMI ports on the sides as well as component (red, green, blue) and composite connectors so you should be good regardless of what hookup you use though I would say bare minimum use red green blue as the better quality cable will only make your experience better.
