Hi PROFESER, For 1080p HDTVs, we suggest a viewing distance between 1-1/2 and 2-1/2 times the screen's diagonal measurement. You can sit even closer to a 4K Ultra HD TV — 1 to 1-1/2 times the screen diagonal. Thanks, >Joffrey
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My wing chair is 10-12 feet away, and the picture is awesome. The TV's diagonal and size is larger than you think. You could be 15 ft away and the crispness, sharpness of the picture will make you think you're right in the pix you're watching.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Since 4k tvs have higher resolution(for 4k content), the optimum viewing distance is to sit closer to the screen than you would say a 1080 hdtv. So i would say sit no further than 2x times the screen's diagonal measurement, and no less than 1x to appreciate the 4k clarity. Different size screens have a sweet spot to sit in, but you can always sit as far back as you want of course.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Roughly 10-15' is what seems to work for me.
