“I purchased the Sony X900E on 11/11/2017. My 5.1 surround sound is via Denon AVR 2100W. The 2100W is ARC compatible. I connected the HDMI cable to the X900E ARC/HDMI port. Sound is only coming from the front left/right speakers. Any answers?”

• If by left/right speakers you mean on your sound system, you probably need to check the sound settings. There are 3 options Auto 1, Auto 2, and PCM. You probably need to adjust that. You might check your sound system settings too.

• Go into your receivers menu & select auto surround or a different audio format for 5.1.

• You should use an HDMI HDR compatible cable. I personally use the optic digital connector for my sound.
