“XBR55X900E what does the E stand for the D which one is better”

• Hi, the letter at the end of the model number indicates the year it was released. E series is released this 2017 while the D series is released in 2016. They almost have the same features and specifications. Thanks! ^Ron

• I believe E stands for Elite. Not sure what D stands for but it's inferior model. I would not go below the E.
