I had to go into the settings and turn it on for each HDMI port. Was easy and I did all of my ports so I won't have to remember to do it later on when I populate those ports later down the road.

With the X1 processor images filmed in 2K and even in HD are upscaled close to 4K levels of detail by 4K X-Reality Pro using a unique 4K database. This is done automatically. No need to adjust settings per content unless you prefer a customized setting that suits your needs. Regards, David
