Hello GarryW, We do apologize for the confusion. Your TV has a built-In chromecast (Google Cast). Chromecast built-in (Google Cast) lets you watch your favorite entertainment and apps from your mobile device or computer on your Android TV or Google TV. When you cast to the TV, it doesn't disconnect the internet connection or mirror content.
