“Just bought this TV and tried to run my Apple TV box through it but it doesn't recognize it. It knows something is hooked to the HDMI port but the menu for the box doesn't appear (yes, the box is ON). Is there a way to fix this or am I out of luck?”

It has Apple TV already built in why would you use the box
