Hi Stell, Thanks for your interest in the XBR55X900H. Unfortunately, the exact release date of the update for ATSC 3.0 is currently not available. There is much confusion about the HDMI versions and concerns about compatibility. For this reason, we do not promote the HDMI versions incorporated on many of our products. Instead, we advertise the features of a product that are associated with a particular HDMI version. For X900H, the TV will support up to 48 Gbps transfer rate to support 4K120, Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM), and Enhanced Audio Return Channel (eARC) via a firmware update.
