Hell there! Yes, you can skip the part where you need to sign in a Google account. You can also disable the microphone button by not pairing the remote or unpariring the remote under the Bluetooth settings. Happy to help! ~Zac
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.As far as I know the TV does not have to be connected to the internet, therefore you don't need to agree to Google terms. Regarding the microphone; you have to enable the microphone if you want to use that feature, but if connected to the internet I suppose there is a risk.

However, you will want to get it WiFi or LAN connected, at least at first. Out of the box right now, there's already been a couple of firmware updates to the TV. You also don't need to create or enter a Google account to use the TV. There is a microphone in the remote, and possibly the TV. My understanding is it never works until you enter a Google account and connect the TV with Google. It's not a required step and I've never done it.
