yes I have had the same issue several times. I thought it might be the sound bar because as I increase volume, the tv speakers kick in but sound bar is dead even though the system said "transferring to external speakers. hate to deal with a tv return but will probably take the sound bar in. may purchase extended warranty now. I changed the input source and returned to my show and the sound returned.
